Persistence Linocut Print

The title may refer to one of the crucial ingredients for a musician's life, and also to a famous Surrealist painting.

This artwork is hand-printed from a hand-carved block, signed and numbered from a limited edition of 14. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Printed with dark purple oil-based ink on 100% cotton Legion Somerset Satin paper with a hand-torn or deckled (feathered) edge. 

The ink color is dark enough to be best described as a warm black; when viewed in brighter lighting, it could be described as a very dark purple.

Much like live music performance, slight variations make each print unique from the next, resulting from the labor intensive hand-printing process.

Mat size: fits a standard 8" x 10" frame

This print is sold unframed, and can be purchased with or without a mat. CAMco strongly advises the use of a mat to frame art prints. Besides its decorative appeal, this thick border piece creates a crucial air gap between the artwork and the frame's glass for the print's long term preservation.
