    "Makara in the title is monster fish which appears in Indian myths. It has a pointed nose like an elephant and a crocodile, and a big mouth like a crocodile or a lion.

    It is said that Makara can control water of large fivers and the ocean and can spew out various living things and gods from its mouth.

    This piece for solo clarinet is based on the images of the spiral vortex of water and various lives given birth from Makara's mouth."
