Big Clariknot Linocut Print

If you've ever wondered what a roughly-double-life-size clarinet looks like when tied into a knot, then have I got news for you.  

(I also have a bunch of other clariknots covered.)

This artwork is hand-printed in two layers from a hand-carved block, signed and numbered from a limited edition of 22. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Printed with black and metallic silver oil-based ink on 100% cotton Legion Somerset Satin paper with a deckled (feathered) edge. The metallic silver ink subtly reflects the ambient light.

Much like live music performance, slight variations make each print unique from the next, resulting from the labor intensive hand-printing process.

The print can be matted for a standard 18" x 24" frame, with weighted left and right receiving slightly wider borders (see preview image). Alternatively, it can be matted with a uniform 2" border which would require a custom frame (outer dimensions of about 15.7" x 23.2").  Please indicate which mat dimensions you would prefer in the message form on the customer cart page.  

This print is sold unframed, and can be purchased with or without a mat. CAMco strongly advises the use of a mat to frame art prints. Besides its decorative appeal, this thick border piece creates a crucial air gap between the artwork and the frame's glass for the print's long term preservation. CAMco uses acid free, archival grade materials for producing mats.
