This edition consists of 20 works for clarinet and piano. They were commissioned or arranged by Karen North with consultation from Alexei Dupressoir.
A complete set of audio recordings of the piano accompaniment (as well as clarinet and piano performances) is available online.
Seven works are traditional arrangements from 19th/early 20th century composers like Brahms, Joplin, and Dvořák. The rest of the book includes newly commissioned works from contemporary composers hailing from Australia, Canada, China, South Africa, or the USA. The entire collection comprises about 37 minutes of music, and is suitable for early intermediate players. The vast majority of the solos stay at or below an upper clarion C6 (five of them reach altissimo D6 or E6).
