Articulation/Staccato

Articulation is simply the manner of how a sound begins and ends, although it can also affect a sound's timbre, dynamics, and pitch.  Many clarinettists concern themselves with achieving greater articulation speed, although another crucial goal is diversity of tonguing "vocabulary."  This collection includes books which explicitly focus on the instruction and practice of articulation, as well as materials that include a substantial amount of articulation practice combined with other concepts.
